Every day, workers at the International Rescue Committee (IRC), a humanitarian aid nonprofit, serve people who have come to our country seeking refuge and a better life for themselves and their families.
LET THE BOSSES KNOW YOU STAND IN SOLIDARITY WITH IRC WORKERS UNITE/OPEIU
Since 2023, IRC offices in 11 locations have unionized with various OPEIU locals across the country. But IRC management has consistently delayed and undermined the bargaining process that serves as the cornerstone of our collective fight for living wages, good benefits and reasonable working conditions.
While IRC’s top executives make close to a combined $5 million, many IRC frontline workers aren’t earning a living wage. In fighting for a fair first contract, IRC Workers Unite/OPEIU is committed to creating a sustainable future for IRC workers — a future where one job is enough.
Send an email to IRC management demanding a stop to delays at the bargaining table, an end to union-busting and a fair first contract that hardworking refugee and asylee advocates deserve.
