Area local unions are accepting donations to help Nebraskans in their flooding clean-up efforts! Please take cleaning supply donations to the following drop off locations from March 20th through April 19th

DONATION SITES:

Omaha Federation of Labor • 6001 Grover St., Ste 2 │ Omaha: 9am – 5pm Monday ― Friday (use north side of bldg., west door and go to the 2nd floor)

Lincoln Central Labor Union • 4625 Y St. │ Lincoln: Mondays 9am – 5pm and Saturdays 8am – Noon

Central Nebraska Central Labor Union • IBEW 1597 Hall • 3302 W. Capital Ave. │ Grand Island: Monday – Friday 5pm to 7pm. (beginning March 25)

OPEIU will award twenty scholarships for children, between the ages of 13 and 16, of OPEIU members or associate members.

The one-week summer camp will be held July 14-19 at the University of Missouri Campus in Columbia, Mo., and will teach children about the labor movement, while providing fun summer activities such as camping, boating and swimming.

Applications are due April 30 and winners will be selected and notified by email by May 31.
